G'mornin, snails!

For the record, I broke a piece off the DNA30 PCB...not the actual tibs enclosure, heheh.

Roof is on! The boys worked till just after 6pm yesterday evening. Color of the shingles is totally inconsistent. I don't not like it, but when I first saw it I wasn't all, "Dude, Sweet!" about it. The only problem is that it makes the surface look like it undulates more than it actually does (I think).

bear, you'd be ashamed of my lawn...I didn't get a chance to mow it last night cuz the roofing crew had a bunch of stuff all over it.

:D

ETA: My car started! LOL

Bear, it's a bummer that you lost; on the other hand, if you won, you'd probably gamble that money away only to be a loser again.

Tibs, I get so frustrated when doctors/dentists don't listen to us...we know when something is wrong, and I abhor any doctor who dismisses our concerns.

I'm anxious also to hear Mad's outcome with the roofing episode....seems to me that both the neighbor and Mad should get a new roof for free. Wouldn't that be a hoot!!

Morning Mad. Glad your shingles got done at least. Hope it "grows on you". :)

Just FYI re: casino:

+ 11.08 (machine)
- 13.85 (lunch and tip)
- 1.50 (NYS Thruway tolls)
- 7.00 (gas)

-11.27 (total)

<<< Loser!!!

That's some "funny math" right there. You CANNOT factor lunch into the win/lose equation. You can factor it into the net gain/loss for the day...but you'd have to acknowledge that lunch is always a loss, as are most days.

So, since you were UP by 11.08, that just offset your expenses for the day. So you can justifiably say "winner".

Good morning Bear, if you'd won bunches you could have shared ;)

Glad your car started, Mad. Did you redo the whole roof or just a section?

Me too, CES. Lucky for me, the little battery charger I used on my motorcycle in the winter also works well for the bigger car batteries! I got a whole new roof; new wood or whatever the base is called, some layer or two on top, and new shingles. They paid special attention to the area of the leak and did what they could to prevent it in the future.
