See? I didn't want to open old wounds. I was just curious. Fine with me if you don't fly.
My mom HATES flying. Just hates it. Me, I think it's fascinating. I haven't flown since the Gestapo took over the airports though. However, we're probably a tad safer than if they hadn't. But only a tad.
I think we would have been much safer if they'd have just put 3 armed ex-special-forces-now-sky-marshalls on each flight (or something like that). Would be cheaper too.

It would be interesting if "destinations" (eg: Disney, Vegas, etc) underwrote a study to figure out how much they are losing due to people not wanting to fly (and therefore NOT flying to their cash registers) because of all the added security and hassle around it.
Making shrimp scampi for serving over angel hair pasta. Can't start it too soon... shrimp is easily overcooked. But will put sauce together now. Mmmmm... butter!!!... garlic...

Cooking spaghetti. I also bought another bottle of Nolet's Gin. A 750ml bottle is $50, but it's so incredibly good. It's has this beautiful floral and fruit-flavored essence with fresh notes of Turkish rose, peach and raspberry; it's incredible. We should try it together some time.
If not, maybe I should send you a picture of me drinking it.

I know, I know... "it's only a frog"... and it's not like it gave any attention back to me (but it would follow my finger up and down and side to side on the glass). But I still feel badly when an aquarium denizen passes. So... do I get another so the one left doesn't get lonely?... or do they really not care at all? I know most fish are "happier" in groups. It's interesting that a State form is filled out when purchasing a $4.99 frog... with signature and proof of ID.

The form is to inform the purchaser of possible salmonella and other types of "things". Since I do not take them out and play with them... nor lick my fingers of any errant aquarium water... it doesn't mean much to me. Nor do I cut off their legs (they grow back) to make sauteed frogs legs for dinner. But it does go to show the State does not have enough to do.
