I know people that have Steaks on Thanksgiving, or chicken, or other stuff. I'm for the Turkey, because, well....tradition...but wouldn't mind other stuff too. It's one of my favorite holidays...just people and food and giving thanks. Some bad history associated with it, from a Native American perspective, though.

I think it's "morphed" into a "be-happy/thankful in whatever your belief system is" day...and stuff your face if you are able. Another reason to like it. Flexibility. No hate.
