TV's out here so poor hubs is watching a re-run DVD. Gotta get out there tomorrow and clean the dang dish off
You mean snow, right? Not much. Inch or two. Fran is getting FEET of snow...like we did a while back (then it thawed).
frannie, if your dsl line is good you should be able to get tv service from there

Yep. Fran is getting an East-Coast slam from the south. But I hear it should let up sometime tomorrow and get better.
She's probably better off with DTV if she can clean the dish. Just 
These storms are hell on satellite reception.
I have different type of satellite horror stories....I won't go into it. But I had it for a while. They keep sending me "special invitations to come back". Internet sucks though so I don't. But they had a good deal in price over Comcost for a while there. I saved the GF over $100 per month (and boy was she .......) Long story.

Our satellite TV is actually very good. Rarely have problems with it. We have a lot of snow out there so I'm not complaining. The Internet via dish however was not nearly as good.
