catt probably does what you're supposed to do ;)

find the right setting for each device by starting low and increasing till you find the right spot. and never expect to be able to duplicate this on another device by just punching in the numbers!

Nope, not really :D. Generally start out at 4V and adjust from there. Initially may go down to ~3.5 and up to ~5; but no matter what device used, still end up setting it at 3.8 - 4.2V. I shoot for 2.5 ohm coils on my builds; I usually hit between 2.4 - 2.7 ohms - any lower or higher and I try again. :D

WooooHoooo, I just finished building my first coil on my new Magma rda.............. and it works awesome.:thumb: It was no problem at all. 9 wraps of 28 gauge kanthal on 3mm screwdriver. It came out to 1.65 ohms. threaded some cotton and wetted it down with juice and we're vaping at 4.8 volts. Huge clouds for a single coil. I'm going to need to drop my nicotine level from 18mg to ?. I took a couple hits and I have a nicco buzz.:D

p.s. I found out what my problem was when I tried building my own coils a couple of years ago. It was on a genesis atty, which I'm told is the hardest atty to build a coil that works.

I'm very happy with myself.:D It took me less than 10 minutes to wrap the coil and mount it on my atty. I fired it up a couple times and compressed the coil to work out the hot spots and now I'm blowing clouds.:toast:
