Well when I used it earlier today, it didn't seem to be hitting like it usually does when it's charged well. So I plugged it in to the charger and the light has not changed to green after about 3 hours now. It's plugged in to a power strip, which my laptop is also plugged into and fully charged, so that's not the problem. Plus, I have my pass through plugged into the same power strip and it is working fine.

It's still charging then, I'd guess. Maybe give it a bit. If it is real warm though, unplug it and set it in a safe place.

I want cookies! but i still have some yummy chocolate that I've been savoring slowly :)

+1 on trying a different charger.

I don't know a full crown from a half crown, Atty, but my whole tooth (teeth, since n=2?) is/are covered.

New job is, at least initially, the same as the old job, just in a different department. Research will be the same, with a slightly different teaching load.

+1 on options, proc, cons and most especially costs.

Cookies are bad for your teeth...

the power strip sounds fine, but perhaps the actual 510 charger isn't doing its job. Also, i think sometimes power strips split the power, so it may just be taking longer? OTOH, I do have a twist that takes forever to turn green, hours and hours and hours. it finally does turn green, but it may just be a signal to get another backup. Yeah, i dunno. sigh.

I think it's time to go back to my book ;)

I wonder what the cost of having it "pulled and pegged" as Atty put it is, vs the root canal and crown.

no idea - i do remember a friend decades ago who had a tooth replaced that way and was satisfied ......................

maybe atty can ask his gf the exact name of that replacement

IDK about that, Lost.

However, the GF probably couldn't tell me unless you wanted to add stipulations like "and you have compatible insurance coverage". BC IDK if she knows the before-insurance costs. And it may vary depending on location or issues. I do know it's a multi-step process, and not fun. But neither are RC's. The RC may be less impact overall, once they remove the root, they don't have to remove the whole tooth, then drill a hole in your jaw to put a peg or screw (or maybe they make a peg out of the tooth after the RC) and then the final "build" of the tooth may not be too bad.

I'm way out of my computer league here. When they did that with her, there may have been different issues.

So basically, you have to go with your situation. You CAN get different opinions or investigate dental school options though. IDK if I'd like that for the RC part though. Eeeeck.

Well Atty, I think if I eat enough chocolate in a short enough time frame, the teeth rotting out of the head might be a viable option. Who needs teeth anyway? I like baby food.
Thanks for the input, though. I appreciate your thoughts.

Just finished making some buckwheat crepes... first time making crepes. I used to think those guys making crepes on the streets of Paris were really awesome, not now. They turned out awesome. Please call me Le Pepper from now on (with a French accent).:D
