) to getting a Delta and a Subtank, also hoping that I would just make a higher-ohm coil or that Kanger and/or Joyetech will offer higher resistance coils. But the more I read and talk to real users, the more convinced I become that those tanks are really designed to perform at high wattages. Yes, we could use higher ohms,
but it wouldn't make much sense in term of performance--we would be going against the intended use (and design). So what's the point?
I'm sure that sooner or later there will be a lower watt version of those tanks--or OCC coils that will work in existing kanger tanks, for example. I got excited about the Subtank because the early BPDC coils that came with it were supposed to be compatible with other tanks. But Kanger redesigned them, and now the OCC coils only work in the Sub.
But it's only a matter of time--IMHO. I hope!
