My son and I were using the Japanese cotton for wicking over these last months and loved it - awesome wicking and easy to work with. But we both started getting very noticeable shortness of breath and I also had a cough. My problem was I was battling pneumonia so thought mine was due to that, but when I was getting better my shortness of breath and cough were not.
We both stopped using the Japanese cotton and went back to the silica sleeving as a wick. Right off, no more shortness of breath or cough, so def the Japanese cotton was affecting us. But was bummed cause I like cotton for my Orchid builds.
I mentioned this to Dino Ferrari and he gave me a heads up on cottonman.com cotton for wicking. Cottonman was a recent guest on VPLive. If you have time, listen to that episode - the dude is awesome and very knowledgeable about cotton and is an organic cotton farmer. Cottonman also mentioned some tidbits about Japanese cotton that will freak you out lol.
Anyway, I bought Cottonman's sample pack. First to try was the angel hair organic bath. da-nada... didn't wick too good maybe I didn't pack it right, but it's not that easy to work with. Then tried the Carolina blend organic bath and I iz in love - gives a very clean taste to the flavor of my juice, awesome wicking, and easy to work with. On day 2 of the Carolina blend organic bath now and I am getting nom nom nom with the DNA40 TP mode using the Orchid with dual coil twisted 34g nickel wire and the Carolina blend organic bath.
And no more shortness of breath or cough. booya... life is good!
Purely anecdotal and total BS. I've been
vaping with Japanese organic cotton for a month now on my rdna 40 and have no symptoms that she claims. I'll take Japanese organic cotton over silicia, mesh, or fiberglass from Aspire any day (although you did see Aspire is now using cotton). She's probably
vaping some juice from Chernobyl made by Vladimir Putin... put that in your ecig and vape it.
All I have to say to that babe is: come to the gym with me for two hours and i'll give you some shortness of breath.
p.s. and that goes for you too, tibby.--shortness of breath that is. You probably get that every night looking at my picture on the ceiling of your bedroom above your bed. And yes, I understand.
