I know it sounds silly, but we've watched our hummers build their nest and raise their youngs for ever--they make their nest at the same palm tree frond on our front porch. And we always watched the young ones' first flight...

Until two years ago, when the little ones didn't make it. We watched the frenzied mama hummer trying to feed the unresponsive fledglings for days........

No more.

Oh, can't fault you for that, Tweety....we stay away from heartbreak as much as we can!

Happy to say that hubs did not have that stomach bug. Back to normal today.
