morning, pepper, frannie and gracie!

Well that sucks,Tib. Don't worry about the boy.I'm sure he'll get his power back sometime.
We only have an inch or so at the moment. It's not the heavy, wet snow. Temp is 28 degrees. I guess I should find out how much they are predicting.
not too worried about the boy, frannie - they do have a gas fire place and gas stove/oven. that should make the power loss tolerable

We ended up with less than an inch of snow here, the changeover from rain to snow didn't happen til 8pm. Northern Alabama got smacked pretty hard. Anywhere from 6-12 inches.

Uh, people die from using ovens for heat long term...be careful. Fireplaces have chimneys so that's OK. Don't use grills either. I know you know that one, but just say'n. I assume you mean for cooking......not heating.

i hope they get to enjoy the fireplace, and tehn continue to enjoy it when the power comes back on. At least this time the boy and his dw are both at home, yes?

our power just went off but kicked back in - fingers crossed here, that snow is heavy ................
