i'm debating the problem of the missing/late showing posts - ces confirmed already and so did frannie

anybody else? it happens only when the thread picks up speed but if it is a universal problem i think it needs to be pointed out to retired

Yeah, I read that. It has some heart rate monitor in it (IR?) and some tattoo ink messes it up. Probably a variant of those clip sensor things you put on a finger in the hospital.

Mostly only happens with me when I click on that little [there's more posts view them?] button/link thing.

I don't know that the missing posts are a forum problem. When the thread moved fast before we'd often have to refresh to see the new posts.

I think I'm missing them because i'm not used to the formatting yet. Though refreshing sometimes takes me to a couple of posts above the last post i read , and maybe sometimes a couple of posts below the last read post...

Every once in awhile, while i'm typing, a little grey box shows up that says something to the efffect that there are new posts that have been made while i was typing slowly and asks if i want to read them. When i see that it's a reminder to refresh.

In fact as I'm typing now the i got the little gray banner "messages have been posted since you loaded this page. View them? "

so this forum at least tells you to look.
