We've got 82 here but it's only 77 in the house. Still haven't gotten to try out the new A/C yet! One day this week we're supposed to have a high of 85, so I'm sure I'll be able to break it in then.

77 IN THE HOUSE?!?!

It hit 75 in here and on went the AC.

How warm does it need to be?... ick.

I'm fine as long as it's below 80. Plus the temperature will only start to drop now and it's supposed to get down to 54 tonight.

all that's needed now are some of your plants!

Plants are always nice.

not nice, but necessary! :D

couldn't imagine to be without!

Plants need water.... :(

Bear, here's hoping your kitty recovers soon!

Atty, 20 cents? I can't imagine the bank going after you... If they do, I agree you need to find a new bank. Good luck.

Enjoy your day with your granddaughter, Gracie! :)

Tibs, I need your fellows to remove my lawn...

Hello Snails! Catching up...
lol.
They "upgraded it" It was a 4.2. ;)

The biggest one in recorded history is ...I think it was....4.6 in 1947. May just be for lower MI. Not sure of the specifics on the UP.

Don't laugh too much. You guys have a newly (re)active underwater volcano off your coast. (Well, off coast of Oregon). Wanna move East? :) ;) We have water...and cookies (I know, bad bad bad joke)

We're baaaaack!

Not laughing at all, Atty; 4.2 is a good size earthquake, especially in an area that is not accustomed to earth shaking. We have strict building codes here and can take much more shaking than you guys. BTW, we had two ~4 quakes today--on in SF and one just next door--I didn't even feel it.

And yes, I would move back East in a heartbeat--but it's not in the cards; I married a CA boy... :D He loves it here. But I miss the water and the flowers. I don't miss shoveling snow, though.

One can't have everything, can one?

Our cookies are better--we make them out of tofu and sprouts.

Yum.
