Finally heard back... the work request (which needed to be described, voice) is being routed to
the "estimator" who will be out "later this week".
(Let's see how long I keep thaton my face.)
Coming out at 09h00 to look at the main job to be done. That's key. If they can do THAT part,
then they also get to do hot crack filling (again, no smart comments, please
) and sealcoating. I'm not going to mess with multiple people to do the work.

vz is doing fairly well this morning and with that i decided to make my rounds to some of the threads i visit rarely - but there is no more kitty!
fb has no recent posts either except for complaints 
I got an email from kitty a couple of weeks ago. But still no response to the email i sent him yesterday.
