lol. I downloaded FF, but i'm still using ms homepage. I didn't know i could do that. so everything looks the same, but FF is being used. I didn't know i could do that. I ran the test and my system is no longer vulnerable. Yay! I'm glad i figured that out... all on my own.

A whole new world has been opened for the Pepper. I'm really liking FF. FF allowed me to import the things i like about IE, while getting the protection of FF. So, it's the best of both worlds. Why didn't you people tell me about this before? It's not nice to leave the Pepper in the dark.

no reason to be confused, my doll. I didn't realize i could import features of IE into FF. So now it's like having IE with the protection and features of FF. Stop being contentious with the Pepper. I'm a fragile soul that requires love and support from my friends.

CES, this is what a guy did that was running Avast antivirus: "Thanks for the heads up! I too have FF and Avast, and initially the test failed. Once I turned the web shield off, I passed. Just updated Avast, but a reboot is required. Let's see if I can turn the Web Shield back on after reboot..."

EDIT: It works! I mean doesn't! I mean the page doesn't load so I'm safe! Yay!

ETA: Except that i just recently updated avast, and i can't find a way to check for a newer update. Perhaps i should just go read a book LOL.

Common places are on the menu and/or sub-menu (like help/about/check)
Or it's an option to update automatically every time.
