Interestingly enough, this next Tuesday should be "Patch Tuesday" already as the calendar worked out to make the 10th the 2nd Tues of the month.
We'll see if MS hits the target date with the patch.
I'm sure there's a lot of regression testing that has to go on. It's more than fixing IE (which they could do separately I'd guess) but also there's other services within Windows that use RSA encryption. lol. So we'll see.
This is all due to Uncle Sam's now outdated export laws for encryption. (I almost typed "Uncle Sham"...that's hilarious...I never thought of that one...it was just a typo with the common sh prefix to a word. lol)
Anyway...it's basically "host by our own petard".
