Were you able to fix it, Bear?

If I had ramps, metric tools and wanted to crawl under a car... maybe. And if I was a
DIYer. Like our butch greasy @AttyPops . :: argh :: :: grunt :: :: spit :: He so studly!

No. If one belt broke, then he should probably have all 3 changed. It'll go in on Monday.
I might (might) say I'll drive it in without power steering... or he'll have it towed (AAA),
go with it and wait for it to be fixed. He wouldn't be able to steer it. For a small car,
it requires a surprising amount of effort to turn that wheel.

Phone fixed. Apparently a lot of people affected by "massive squirrel damage" to wires just
up the road. But he did not fix the next house down the line (not the old lady)... said he had
to go to a "medical emergency" and they have to wait until Monday. I can't wait for them to
come home and for me to tell them the reason. Does not hold water for me. And I know the
wife will just have a cow over it.

I vote AAA. They are really tough to drive.

careful with that tagging, atty! ;) that bear was last seen years ago! :D

    gone now!
I tried putting a space in it so it wouldn't tag at all. Oh well...

    Bear,
    1) on the Atty description
    2) Belt...now THAT you could replace yourself and save da $$$$$ by ordering new belt(s) on net. But up to you. Shouldn't take the mechanic long to replace em.

    ... ordering new belt(s) on net ...

Every day the car is out of order is a day I might be called on to run errands and such. It's
almost 50 miles round trip, so... yeah. I made sure he was all set with provisions for a
couple of days. I pay for his AAA, so why not use them? And I don't trust shimmying under
any car that is being held up by anything less than a hydraulic lift. I get squished like a
bug and die... he has a heart attack seeing it and dies... hmmm...
