Good Monday, all.

Planning to see "Amy" later this morning, but need to hear from dad first on what's going
on with his car.

"Oreo" breakthrough... s/he's been getting better about being less skittish at breakfast
time. I left the door open a bit and put the food inside the house. S/he came in to
eat!... but still acted quite nervous. As soon as the food was gone, out s/he went. I
think this was a major step forward. I'll try to snap a picture tomorrow.

Congrats on taming of the Oreo, Bear. Hope that your dad's car is fixed.

Ongoing taming. It took a LONG time just to get this far. Still a few months before
the weather gets cold, so hoping s/he notices the comfort on THIS side of the door.

Dad's car will have to be towed since the garage won't do the simple(?) job of belt
replacement in-place at his apartment. Makes no sense to me, but probably an
insurance thing... or they do not want to set any precedent. Regardless, I'll need
to go over and transport him to the garage when it's done. I think I can squeeze in
the movie in the meantime. (I could always go Tue, Wed or Thu.)

Hi Bear, sure hope you enjoy the movie. I'm sure you will have a story or 2 to tell. Hope your dad's car is ALL fixed.

From almost all of the reviews, the movie is NOT a "fun" affair. I have been a fan
of her's since 2003 and her first album (LONG before she became really famous with
"Back To Black"). We all know how it ends. I'm sure I'll feel pretty sad... and probably
mad at the enablers. Yes, ultimately, she did it to herself... but there are some people
that NEED others to really step in - hard - and help.

THIS is what the music world no longer has (from 2004):

Bear, I know it's not a feel good movie. I just meant enjoying your day out.
Her story is extremely sad. She was surrounding by people who enabled her. And the end result can't be changed. And a beautiful voice is silenced forever.

... people who enabled her ...

"... I ain't got the time and if my daddy thinks I'm fine ..."

She was a VERY big "daddy's girl". He held the key. I feel he was the most instrumental in NOT
doing enough to help her. The movie may shed more light on that.

    Time to get moving! Later!

She's doing really well, thanks, Lost. She's been such a trooper and, usually, she is a major Drama Queen. Not this time. It's like she knows this is what's best for her.

    Good morning Snails :)

    I wanna go home ...

Hi Dale.:) I so understand that feeling. I am a true, blue homebody. I mean, I enjoy getting out and about, but I don't like traveling for some reason. Have always gotten anxious when I traveled anywhere.
