Land of the Lost
Me too ... giving some serious thought to climbing into that bed right now ;)
I invested in a very good, very expensive bed about 10 years ago, I guess it was. Worth EVERY penny. I LOVE that bed almost more than I love my children.:lol:

This weekend I was helping my dad find some old Navy pictures of him ... going through all those boxes of pictures I made the comment "gee dad, ya'll got more pictures of your dogs than us kids" :?:

Dad and car reunited and back at his apartment.

Movie viewed. Received "senior discount" without asking. Hmmm... I'll need to find out what age
they use and figure out if I should be insulted or not.

$15.10 for large lemonade (not "Lotta Lemon") and large popcorn. Brought home just a little
popcorn and about half the drink.

Anybody who goes to see "Amy" expecting/hoping to see a graphic in-your-face human train
wreck will be disappointed. Or any explicit finger-pointing. I was expecting something quite
a bit more edgy, but it was done pretty gently. With the exception of a series of 4 or 5
consecutive stills showing Amy at her worst, there was nothing degrading or scandalous.

There were a couple previously unheard song tracks :) On the "news" side for me, it was
explained that the Belgrade concert "disaster" was not the drunken drugged-out affair as
reported. Yes, she was drunk, but standing her ground she did not want to do the concert
in the first place. She could have performed vocally and physically, but she held to her own
    conviction of "no". :)

She looked absolutely awesome during her duet with Tony Bennett.

And she was staying away from drugs during her last few months (which we knew). So, anyway...
alcohol did her in (which we also knew). 45x the legal driving limit. The commentary did NOT
speculate if it was accidental or suicide, no mention of either at all. Simply: alcohol poisoning.

Hope the DVD has some bonus stuff on it.

ETA: NOT "45x"... rather "more than five times"... "A coroner's inquest reached a verdict of misadventure.
The report released on 26 October 2011 explained that Winehouse's blood alcohol content was 416 mg per
100ml (0.416%) at the time of her death, more than five times the legal drink-drive limit."

 45 times the legal limit?????????? Yikes. She had a tiny little body too, which probably made it that much easier for her to OD on alcohol.

    Yes, she was also bulimic.
That is such a horrible illness to have. My sister used to be bulimic. I would rather just not eat than to eat something and puke it back up. Have you ever tasted puke? It's not pleasant. o_O
