Good morning y'all

The beasties were fine. Don't know what caused the false alarm. prolly never will

I'll miss stuff, but let's give it a go.

Love the pictures, Bear! I'm also ...... about what was done to t-mato (spelling?)

Good to see you Haze. Yep, we beat back the vape tax in the regular session, but i'm not that hoepful about the special session. the Arkansas thing sucks. Our bill is not dissimilar, but maybe not as bad (might need to order another big bottle of PG before the session ends)

Glad your painting is done, Lost

(((Hugs))), Atty, Fran, Tibs, Pepper, Dale, Gracie, JJrose, Bear, Katamar, Katya, Catt, Lost, all y'all...

It's excruciatingly hot here, even for me, and the air conditioners can't keep up with it. Hoping for a break in the weather soon. I did make it down to say hi to the beach yesterday morning.

/daily flyby :)

... bear's been pretty rambunctious all day ...
... and now that bear has simmered down ...

As my very first post yesterday said:

More low-key today. Things to do around the yard, then "Dad Wednesday" in the afternoon.

Saw a local commercial for solar panel installation. I think one of the houses is the one that
friend is (still) building... mentioned a few weeks ago. Will need to ask.

He's having a get-together today (friend is visiting from out of town) but I can't go because
of the standing date with Dad.

He mentioned making the interior trim people tear EVERYTHING out of the house... around
windows, doors, baseboards... the whole thing... because the sequence of nail-filling, staining,
sanding and sealing were done in the wrong order. I *think* he said the nail holes were filled
LAST. He was having none of that and I can't say I blame him.

Also mentioned the torrential rains we've had caused erosion of the driveway. I *knew* that
driveway was going to be a problem in one way or another. It's SO freaking steep and long.
Still wondering how it's going to work in Winter with snow and ice.

...

OK... gotta get yard stuff done. Later!
