Sounds like a bird trap to me.

But I suppose if someone comes out with data showing how much safer the vapor is....I'd consider it. Otherwise, special coils, ....idk...probably not for me.

Right. I think TC might be useful for peeps who vape at high wattages as a safety feature against burning and dry hits, but, OTOH, you have the new unknowns with the nickel wire--and the hassle.

I'll pass for now.

There's other stories on Google News right now about how vape shops are profiting from customer use of medical green stuff and their desire to vape it rather than ignite it. I'll bet temp control plays a part in that process. Totally guessing though.
