Land of the Lost
Hi Lost!

We've actually been looking into this for several years now and have resigned ourselves to a Savannah (F1 would be ideal, but we'd take SBT) as long as we live here. We haven't actually moved on this because of our ferrets, however now that we are down to the one, we are getting more serious. Bhaalu is getting on in years and is starting to have some more serious health issues. Once he crosses the Rainbow Bridge, we won't be getting another (the wife really takes it hard when they go) so we can get the Savannah.

Bengals are another option, but we'd prefer the Savannah.

Back to work:(
Savannahs are beautiful cats to be sure. I personally would not be brave enough to take on an F1, though. When the day comes that my beloved Zoomba is no longer with me, I don't think I would even have another Bengal. I love him to pieces, but man, is he a mess! Be prepared for lots and LOTS of personality! My cat is VERY vocal. I'm not talking the normal, cute little kitty meows either. He wails - loudly! I don't know if Savannahs are known for being vocal, though, like Bengals are. Savannahs are quite costly too. I got a bargain Bengal. :D
Good luck to you! If you get one, I would love to see pics!

Haytas gonna hate!

You have been spending too much time "somewhere else". :D

Yes. I am a "hayta". OUT and PROUD. I wonder if there is some kind of "pride" flag for "hayta"'???

I'll wave it with wanton abandon.

Disgusting.

What is disgusting is that this state is known for it's snow and we barely got any.

Like most cats, Savannahs can be either vocal or not, it depends on the individual cat. Some can be very talkative - like constantly, while others - nary a peep. It seems to be pretty widespread on how vocal they are. All seem to have loads of personality. It's been a while since I looked but it seems to me that in general Bengals tend to be more vocal.
Of course I'd post pics.

We had 78 here yesterday.

I think the official temp here yesterday was 79.

I should amend that it has SOME salt. Just...nothing like the old days. I miss a lot of the old days....

Sodium: 100 mg. (1 oz) <--- not even sure they made the quota.

I also blame California...'cuz they start everything. ;)

OK Bear...let's see:
Yes. Allergen information:
Contains Peanuts.

Processing on equipment that may contain...(whole list of nuts)

Work is almost done. Got a lot accomplished, though nothing like I expected today to be like. A large portion of the orders we were expected to process turned out to be on credit hold so I got to spend my day actually doing my own work. Felt good to have a soldering iron in my hand for most of the day. It's the first time in over 2 years I actually got to do that. Now it's off to work the horses. Have a mini show on Saturday and the wife is actually gonna show this time so have to make sure the horse is ready. I may be back tonight but if not, have a good night all.

I am beyond excited! I just got back from Home Depot where I picked up gallons upon gallons of paint for the painters, who are coming to paint my house on Saturday!!!!!!! :rickroll:
I can't even begin to express how happy this makes me. I have wanted to do this since I bought the place but could never afford it. It is going to look like a completely new house!
Then, (Tibbies and Franster this should make you happy) I'm going to try my hand at some gardening. Any tips would be greatly appreciated. :D

That stuff is expensive! I've worked on a "side per year" budget. ;) Started with the "shorter" sides. lol.
