Oh, wanted to add to Bear......the story is getting more interesting by the day.....turning your hearing aid up.....binoculars!!! Too funny! Keep listening; keep watching!
Well, between you and me and the
lamppost (which is where you will find
@AG51 )... a flatbed
unloaded a big pickup truck into the driveway. No plates, no registration, no inspection sticker.
"He" was a passenger in a van that followed shortly. "He" went into the house and came out
with a fistful of papers and stuff, hopped back in the van and off they went.
So... I come away with four possibilities:
1. His regular truck got repo'd
2. His regular truck belonged to the wife(?) and he's now lost it
3. His regular truck became disabled in some manner
4. This will be his new tinker-toy to work on... like the junker that's been in the driveway for
about a year... with no plates, expired registration and expired inspection... all against town
code and which has been reported 3 times, but still manages to sit there as an eyesore.
1, 2 and 3: The fistful of paperwork could have been stuff to take to the DMV to get the
truck plates and registration. But, a vehicle must be inspected before a registration can be
issued. So like I said, I'm trying to figure this all out.
1, 2 and 3: If this means no more dual-exhaust glass-pack muffler rumbling and vibrating of
MY home, then that's fine. (Again, against town noise ordinance code, reported 3 times as
well.)
I'm an ogre.
