Yeah, I have recipes for steak.
Best though, is just plain steak. salt and pepper.
However, if you're looking for something different you can try:
1) Montreal Steak Seasoning
2) Cajun Seasoning (hot)
3) Pineapple teriyaki glaze with a pineapple ring on top
4) Any marinade...particularly if you cook it sous vide.<- ask, I dare you.

Beef prices! Pffft! Downright Un-American. Glad to see "the boy" is doing well and taking care of Mom and DH. But wow....
On a semi-related note: I "splurged" and purchased about 8oz of 10 year-old cheddar while on vacation. It's GOOD. Has crystals in it.
But it was about that price per pound. I'm 50 and don't remember ever trying 10 yo cheese before (I may have, who knows?). So it's an experience. They had a 15yo cheese that went for about 50 (or was it 60?) dollars a pound. Too pricey for me.G'mornin, snails!

Oh, Lost, I am so sorry....never give up hope. My dad always said, prepare for the worst, and hope for the best. It's a good way to think, if you can. I lost both my parents in the 90's. I so hope she turns around for you. Best thoughts are with you and your family.
