I love winter. I wish it was winter now.

Unless you were HERE and/or in @FranC 's part of the country.

*WE* don't want to hear it.

By January, I am ready to climb the walls. (I blame it on retirement.)

Don't know about @AttyPops ... he can have blizzard AND tornado watches on the same day.

... unless you are prepared and willing to give it DAILY attention through germination
and then some more. It's still "late Spring" up here and can be pulled off. It's not as hot
as you have "down there". I put down stuff last week, mixed with topsoil and peat, and
it's looking good, germinating. The rain really does make a difference. I'm certain that
natural watering is worlds better than stuff from a hose.

down here and with lost in charge it would be a lost cause

and amen to the difference between rain and hose!

    Steeler Country
General out-the-back-door shot. Note pepper plants, cherry tomato plants (w/ marigolds),
wetness, gazebo, hanging pots, ashtray, vast lawn, weeping cherry, birdbath (1 of 3),
greenness, Rose of Sharon (1.5 of 3)...

There are two gliding chairs directly in back of the 4 pepper plants. With the
iPod player thumping tunes at a tasteful and good-neighbour volume, a bag of
peanuts for the squirrels, and a glass of wine... I can just sit, glide, sip and toss
    nuts for hours.

And then it's all over in time for Fall/Winter.

    THEN I get cranky.

While waiting for H'bear to arrive home...

...is it too soon to say "just WATCH what the weather does for Father's Day"?

@AttyPops and I have discussed the "odds" in the past. I say it's 1 day out of 365...
he says the window is narrower... for rain and/or untold heat. Regardless... asking
for 1 day, just ONE day, of nice weather for a cookout and we can sit together
talking outdoors and enjoying air and animals and the smell of a grill searing meat
should not be expecting too much. Is it???
