Oooooooo!!! He would kong you on your melon if you called him "feeble".

(They're the LAST to see/acknowledge it.)
Oh, I agree ... dad would do the same :D

Lighting and Thunder (TM. SilverBear), heavy rain, and 70 mph winds. Signing off, hopefully not for the last time. See ya all later. :) ;)
We certainly HOPE it's not the last time!

Looks like we all have the same mess. Ugh. Summer, summer go away. Come again some other - NEVER! :D
So update about mom. She did not end up going to rehab on Friday as was the plan. She is, however, supposed to be going today. Fingers crossed that nothing changes.

Rehab places often don't have the docs or therapists there as much on weekends, so it's not likely that her evaluations would have been done until today anyway. Even if they transfer her today, she'll probably start her actual rehab just as fast.

I've got 95 degrees, with 47% humidity and 103 heat index. It's also just barely 70 degrees in my windowless office. I'm wearing a jacket and my feet are cold.

    Flyby....

So, my middle baby was running down the ramp outside. She saw a bunny. She's not ALLOWED on the ramp, but I was letting the big baby out and she ran right under her and leaped off the side of the ramp and stopped dead, holding one leg up in the air. I got her in the house. She can't put weight on it and when she puts it down, her foot turns under. We have an appt. at 6:40 with the vet. Could be anything from a dislocated hip, knee, or torn ligament. This is my bed and book buddy. She is 13, going on 3 (so she thinks). I am trying not to worry too much. The funny thing is, she never yelped, she is showing NO sign of pain, but she cannot put weight on that leg. Asking for good thoughts and vibes for her. And tomorrow is the big one's appt.
