The "first opinion" place said I required having 2 "Torus mandibularis" removed
at $2400 EACH. EACH. (Plus sedation at $495.) In addition to the 7 teeth.
The doc I decided to go with made no mention of my (apparently gargantuan)
"Torus mandibularis". But let's just see how that goes today, shall we?!?!
Annnnnnnnnnnnnnnd...
...my impressiveand respect-inducing
"tori" was brought up! In the nanosecond my
eyeballs burst into flame, he said "BUT!... there is too much boneto suggest having the
conditionrectified. I'll just work around it/them."
Anyway, "preliminary" impressions were done. It was humbling... not only did schmutz get
all over the 'stache and some beard, it also almost made me gag. Then I remembered:
breath through nose... concentrate and focus ONLY on the breathing. It all settled down
and I could chalk up another success.
No idea really what is done with this first set, but go back next week for the final ones.
Didn't have any problems with my 'stache or beard, though...![]()
Did you shave before the appointment?![]()
