Bear left already? :?:

Dang, guess there's no one left that cares if I watch NCIS or not :(

Hey @daleron: Has Gibbs ever has a shirtless scene in NCIS? I don't recall
any. (And those flashbacks we see with him and Jenny don't count... they
are all quick and soft focus.)

All we get to see is Tony. Yeah... he's attractive and all that, but not *MY*
cuppa.

Well, feral "Mama" started out over here, under deck, in 2008. With her
litter of 3. It's going to be a rough Winter for her. She's had a garage
and heated bed available since then... until they closed the door a few
weeks ago.

She's very welcome over here if she so chooses.

i know! ;)

and good morning, gracie!

    Good morning Bear :)

Interesting question, surely he has but I don't remember it nor have I seen any shirtless pics of him other than when he was much younger :?:

    good morning y'all.
    Good morning CES :)

Seems to me all these horrid explosions came with the sub ohm crowd :(

    So... last night's dinner thing:

... attire did not matter. About half the people dressed up for Halloween since
it was a themed event. But nowhere on the invitation did it say "costumes highly
encouraged". Whoever did the event decorating did a VERY good job. There
were 24 tables with 10 seats at each table... plus the workers. DJ. Fog machines.
"Cauldrons" with dry ice on each table.

    ... full open bar.

... saw 2 e-cig users - inside. The rest of us smokers needed to step out... and
there were a LOT of us. Nice large open balcony, 9 floors up. Good weather,
    thankfully.

... 10 people at "our" table, including Hus' supervisor and her daughter. They are
Turkish. Daughter (21?... she was drinking) had on the TIGHTEST knit minidress.
And I mean MINI. Tina Turner would not even dare it. NOT a "costume".

... of the 10 at the table, 6 had their faces buried in their phones the vast majority
of the time. Boors!!! Hus kept begging me to NOT say anything, so I sat there
    and just stewed.

... they had "raffle" prizes (only for the celebrants). Nice stuff ranging from $200
cash... to a week off with pay... "1 car payment" and one " 1 mortgage payment".
Hus' number did not come up and we lingered until almost 21h45. I think there
were a couple more drawings happening, but we left.

And they do this thing every 3 months because of the number of people having
anniversaries OR having a "value-added award" bestowed OR getting a 98%+
    client satisfaction rating.

Sounds like it could have been ever so much worse, Bear.

Definitely better than any anniversary event I attended at Kodak... and THERE your
number had to be 20, 25, 30 etc. The one last night even included folks with just "5".

Since the company is only 28 years old, it would be rare to have anybody with 25. The
people with 15 and 20 had individual video tributes... camerapeople going around to
co-workers getting well-wishes and anecdotes. Those celebrants received a DVD with
    the comments and stuff.

    G'mornin, snails!

    Hi MadO :)
Are you home?? Did you get kitty snuggles? :?:

Got home late Monday evening...to a look from the kittehs of, "Who the *bleep* are you?"

Once I got down on the floor, played with them a bit and let them sniff away, I think they remembered who I was. I think my kitty-sitter did a good job; she's had a cat her whole life. :thumb:

and it is that time. later y'all

playing and sniffing is a step in the right direction. Pretending they don't know you after a trip is a typical cat thing ;)

Hurricane "pat" lefovers are about to hit Michigan. So it will be raining here too for the next couple of days-ish. :/
"Torrential" was mentioned a few times. I hope it has weakened.

    Hi snails. Pre-night-night-flyby-whatever-thing.

Please...no more talk of hurricane "pat". I'd had more than enough of her 95% of the time I was in Austin. :glare:

Goal before going to Dad's for dinner: clean living room AND bathroom.
    :: sigh ::

I'm leaning toward this cop-out and ignoring the cleaning:

She told me that she didn't do any more than let them sniff her fingers. But just a "stranger" being there to take care of and feed them means a lot, methinks. She also has a sweeter voice than me, lol!
