Snowing and blowing (breezy) now. Should turn to ice in an hour or two as the warm air manages to scoot above the cold stuff. Weird.

Plenty warm in here,tib Happy I took care of the few outdoor things. We're expecting 5-8 inches of snow topped with 1-3 inches of crap. Hoping for a bit less than that.

Not as bad as feared (predicted) today here. Mostly sleet rather than freezing rain. So it's not sticking to trees much.

IDK Tibs. I would like to see everyone that tried, get a "pass". That doesn't mean they get into college. But if they spent 12 years of their life, and they are mandated to go for most of it, I think they should get at least a D- pass.peeking in and smh

They did the best they could. Getting a diploma held back on some technicality for one class...when you spent 12 years attending...doesn't account for differences in individuals. And these days, a H.S. Diploma is required for almost everything.
Yeah, I know they can get a GED. But I guess it all depends on conditions and situations.
Now, does that law mean they can attend, fail every class, for 12 years and get a diploma? IDK about that one....

atty, a high school diploma should at least signal that there is some rudimentary knowledge. and the reason employers look for it. now they will have no idea unless there are different grades of diplomas ........
