Morning Bear!!!
"Back compatibility" has never - ever - worked for me. Not with hardware, not withGood morning
Bear, you can use back compatibility to install the epson printer using the old drivers. Or you can just recycle it and get a new printer![]()
the man must have hit the road already!![]()
Now that I'm all caught up (here and 2 other threads)...
GOOD "LAST HOLIDAY OF SUMMER 2015" to all.
Just another day here... hubs at work... me left alone.
Have stuff to drop off at Best buy for recycling. Poor poor HP scanner. Requires
SCSI interface (OK, can do that) but no drivers written for anything past Win95.
And emulation mode NEVER works... so... buh-bye. And poor Epson photo printer.
No Win7 drivers written THAT WORK. And Dad's old microwave.
What's he doing at work on Labor Day? Hmmmm? Is he a cop? A medical personnel? Something like that?
I've gotten back compatibility to work with most stuff-- crucial programs that costs several hundred $ to upgrade. Granted, with the potential upgrade cost, i had a bit of motivation to spend teh several hours it took to make it work. if you already have a working printer then it's not worth bothering with.
I thought those were all in India. (joke)24/7/365.25 call center. Always open. It's not a holiday in Asia or Europe or
Antarctica.

FYI ...
If you're clueless, like me (highly doubtful) and decide to mess with your Media...
And you discover it's available to "everyone" and close it to only "friends" or "followers", everyone you ever "Friend-ed" will receive a notice that you have "shared" your album with them![]()
Then consider yourself warnedYou are not alone, Dale. I am clueless about that stuff, too!!
