Good morning.

Glad to hear from Stoney.

I'm off to la lovely start. the washer isn't draining properly, so only goes into the spin cycle after 'resting' several hours. I augered the drain yesterday, and still no spin if i put the drain hose into a bucket. water comes out for a couple of seconds, then slows to a dribble. And to add appliance insult to injury, my dishwasher decided that rather than filling to run a load of dishes, it would prefer to dumpr the water directly on my floor.

so, i can't get the water out of my washer or into my dishwasher......

the washer has been messed up for a couple of weeks. the repair guy couldn't replicate the problem (since the washer was between loads and dry at the time) . I'll be having him come back now that i have more information. it likely needs a new pump.

i can get the clothes clean- it's just tedious. I can washes dishes by hand, and i don't use that many. i usually run the dishwasher about every 10 days. It's full now, but once i get those washed it'll be easy to keep up until i repair or replace. It's more than 10 years old..repair or replace?
