Well, there are several meds that can be tried. Phenobarb is the cheapest and usually the best. What I am saying, though, is that if it's neurological, as in a brain tumor, we will just be buying some time, hopefully. If it's some other neurological problem, it's a crap shoot for how long meds will work.

i don't see the advantage knowing what's at the bottom - you promised yourself and puggers to keep going as long as her quality of life is good. pheno controlled the seizures for a few days in a row. your game plan of upping the dosage, now that there was a breakthrough, seems solid to me.

I have to go out this afternoon to meet with DH's family ... then Monday I have to pack up & go stay with dad a night or two. He's having a medical procedure that requires him to have a driver on Tuesday at 7:30 a.m.
