You didn't share your tenderloin recipe.......Tibs. Humph! (or whatever expression suits you)

i had no luck getting another full tenderloin, atty :( ended up with 4 individually cut tenderloin filet steaks which looked promising ;)
as to the recipe - for that cut not much is needed! i trimmed off the side muscle, tip and end piece which, in effect, gave me a chateaubriand. seared in the cast iron skillet then rubbed with a soft butter, thyme, garlic and rosemary mixture and finished in the oven at 350 for about 25 minutes (rare)

I had an eggbeaters omelet for brunch, then did the microwave popcorn in a bowl thing while watching a movie. It worked. Might just as easily use a pan though. But if you don't like the pan thing, the microwave method works. And both are a lot healthier than the bag stuff.

    Have some leftover champagne (GF and I are lightweights). Just found a recipe for Chicken au Champagne. Gonna try that.
