just an inch or so
shouldn't stick on the roads, we reached 60 yesterday but temps are dropping fast. went from 38 to 28 within the last 2 hours!

Glad you're clear of the mess, Fran.
My mom is in good shape now, but if something were to change it'd be really difficult for me to be there for any length of time. And relocating while she's still able to be active, volunteer, and establish her own support system and friendships is crucial. she has way more energy than i do! Actually, i wouldn't be surprised if she ended up finding some sort of work.
She's also a very cool person, so as long as we both have some space of our own it won't be difficult for us to live together.
Sounds great (and expensive!) CES.

Morning CES. That project sounds quite involved, but I bet the end result with be beautiful. It's great that you and your mom get along so well and she is so active. Sounds like a win-win all the way around.

Went to bed a bit early last night and did not hear any of the clapping thunder that hubby said sounded like nearby explosions. He was surprised that I slept through it all without hearing a thing. Yes, I had a deep and good night's sleep.
CES, your project should be especially interesting with such a 'nice' contractor.
Glad I don't have to go anywhere today!
