Good morning Bear :)
Wishing you a peaceful and restful day!

Going to try a pot roast (w/ carrots and celery and onions and potatoes
and tomatoes and garlic) in the new dutch oven today. If it turns out well,
I'll make another to take over to Dad one day this week. I usually use those
roasting bags, but this will be my first one out of an oven condom. In it
goes :D at 15h00.

For those of you who have Amazon Prime, "Amy" is now available. If you
have 2 hours 10 minutes, it could be worth checking out.

And speaking of documentaries... I see one will be coming out in May...
"Janis: Little Girl Blue". I guess another actual movie theatre visit will
be in order. :) Long long LONG time fan of Janis Joplin.

It's odd... whenever I think of Janis, I flash back to 1971 when "Pearl"
came out. My Mom's sister was absolutely SCANDALIZED my parents
would "allow" me to own music by someone who did (and died by) drugs!!!
Imagine! They had a big fight about it. Of course, she probably never
even HEARD of Janis Joplin up until then. Too late, auntie... I already
owned "Kozmic Blues" and "Cheap Thrills". She (and Tina Turner) were
already my "drugs" of choice. I was hooked by then.

Janis was my girl, too. LOVED HER!!! One of a kind. Have you ever listened to Beth Hart? She's got that same kind of gravelly, soulful voice. :)
