(Re: second/bottom video.)

Why is it called a "mod"??? Doesn't "mod" mean it is "modified"? If it works out of the box,
it's not "modified".

Two things he does not cover:
... what does one do when the battery runs down? Not sure I like non-replaceable battery.
... "what if I want to switch flavours". Different atty? Clean tank? "Beginners", remember?

I'd like to try something that clouds a bit more than what I have now. Maybe it would provide
some kind of psychological satisfaction.

I didn't watch the bottom vid.
The battery in that box IS replaceable. It has a magnetic "door" though. So that's why I said I wasn't sure. Overall, that's a good safety feature though, as it can't build up pressure. Also can charge batt via USB cable and also vape-and-charge at same time (USB Passthru)

Changing liquid would necessitate cleaning the tank, or just switching out the whole "topper" to something else.

"Mod" has a historical origin. Basically, "not a cig-a-like" and also "closer to hand made style" from the old days (boxes, tubes).

Then ECF tried for the APV moniker so as to try and avoid confusion (Advanced Personal Vaporizor).

Overall, Bear, I like the sub-tank mini. It's what I use. (Think Fran and others recommended it).
The "box" can be anything, as the tank is order-able separately. But that box looked pretty straight forward.

See top video for cloud demo.

One drawback...the box doesn't have a spring loaded center pin. :(

I'll need to watch the first/top video. I watched the "beginner" one just to see how easy
it was (or was not, as the case may be). The bottom vid made no mention about the
battery.

Yep, buy a bunch of attys if changing flavors. (I was sorta/kinda being facetious.)

I'm willing to try ALMOST anything to get more satisfaction from vaping. I will NOT rebuild.
I really want to get off the cigarettes. What I have now + wellbutrin is not really cutting it.

Well, the coils in the sub-tank lasted me quite a while. The big problem is they can get gunked...and I vape unflavored now so I can't tell you about what juices clog faster in these coils (but probably standard caramel sweet ones, or tobacco+caramel ones). Just stock up once you know which coil you like (it comes with two coils of differing ohms).

Keep in mind, Bear, that there IS a withdrawal from cigs, even when using e-cigs or NRT's.

Lasted 3 weeks for me. Was "Bearable" ;) with e-cigs. Then it was gravy from there.

Top and bottom vids are two different "mods". Wow... look at me and the lingo now.

Top vid... I see "RBA" and clicked off.
I see...because you don't want to rebuild. But you can use the sub-tank without using the RBA "deck". Just purchase coils.
And yeah, the "mod" on the top video is the one I was talking about for the GF. Although she has a lanyard and likes the eGo style batts, so I suspect it would be a "no go".

bear, the gs air tanks have lots of friends and the coils are decently priced. you should be able to run those on a provari without a problem i think ;)

But the Provari "only" adjusts voltage. Voltage is *SOOOOOOO" 2010. It's all
about watts and temperature now. Right? I'm not whipping out any calculator
every time I want to change atties to figure out watts... and who know if there
is a calc for temp.

I will pay for convenience. Always have. Always will.

(One thing I do see is things have NOT progressed beyond "click X times to do
this" and "click Y times to do that" and "click Z times to do something else.
What the hell???)
