The "entire family" thing is common in a lot of cultures and very healthy. Only in America and similar do we separate families so much. So Grand Parents and Parents and kids working together is a good thing.

FWIW ... life has changed around here for us lately. Our DD and GD moved in with us last week and we are all going through some adjustments, that's why I haven't been around quite as much in the evenings.
That IS a big change and adjustment, Dale. Hope it's all for the best....

I just use whatever CREAM of mushroom soup is on sale.
Low sodium, if it's condensed, is a good idea since you don't always dilute it as much.You could use mushroom gravy too, of course. I just don't do it.
I do often use Heinz jar gravy (beef gravy). I think they have a mushroom variety.
