Bill Clinton was in the metro area today. According to the news, he was "stumping"
for Hillary. That word is WRONG. Just WRONG. Geeze. I hate when they use
THAT word for THAT activity. Wouldn't "campaigning" be so much better? I fully
expect to see a person missing an arm and/or leg when they "stump".

What made me laugh by what you said was, years ago I was in a hotel in Plattsburgh, NY. Late night tv had a show called "Stump the Host" it was out of Canada, a comedy game show. Everytime they asked a question the contestants would guess an asnswer and when they couldn't get it they "stumped" the host of the show. The next question had the guy missing a limb and so on. I laughed so hard at that show !
