Good morning, it's sunny here, but only 20. Should warm a bit though. I'm not getting out of bed until it does. I've got cofee and a book and me and the beasties are set for a bit.
Pending: (Bark. Bark. Whine. Whimper. Outside! Outside! Walk! Walk!)

    Cross post from OUTSIDE! "snow a coming" thread. From another poor soul in FL:
    I am currently freezing my a.. off!

    It is currently 35°F (1°C) and the wind chill is 26°F (-3°C)... IN FLORIDA!!! The continental state closest to the fing EQUATOR!!!

    IT. IS. SNOWING. IN. JACKSONVILLE.
    ...
    <remainder removed>
    lol.
    Please excuse the cross-post. Click the link for the full text, but you get the idea.

    Just so you know you're not the only one, Gracie. ;) :D

    That was some storm!

    P.S. I'm not as unsympathetic as I make out to be. Being cold sucks. Particularly if your heating system isn't designed for that level of cold. Still...to us up here...35 is not even panic time. -35 (35 below zero)...that's different.

    Oh, that we do! Thing is, hubby and I disagree with the thermostat control......I'm always raising the temp to 72 and he lowers it to 68.......it's sort of a silent disagreement. :lol: Right now, it's set for 72o.

    We had hurricane windows installed a few years back, and that made a world of difference in temp and noise control.

    Is your heater/furnace keeping up classy?

    (Time for a baked-something for dinner?)

    It can...but ugh - it kills my breathing.

    I made a big pot of chicken last night, will be chicken and dumplings tonight :)

    Not sure what I can toss in the oven without making some sort of a mess to clean up :lol:
