I am currently freezing my a.. off!

It is currently 35°F (1°C) and the wind chill is 26°F (-3°C)... IN FLORIDA!!! The continental state closest to the fing EQUATOR!!!

P.S. I'm not as unsympathetic as I make out to be. Being cold sucks. Particularly if your heating system isn't designed for that level of cold. Still...to us up here...35 is not even panic time. -35 (35 below zero)...that's different.

Oh I know that, Atty ......my daughter came from Tampa to St. Augustine for the new addition to our family, and it's as cold in Tampa as it is here.....we've gotten so unused to it all!

It's below freezing, and they've been out and had breakfast. They're pretty comfy on the bed right now.

Oh, that we do! Thing is, hubby and I disagree with the thermostat control......I'm always raising the temp to 72 and he lowers it to 68.......it's sort of a silent disagreement. Right now, it's set for 72o.

We had hurricane windows installed a few years back, and that made a world of difference in temp and noise control.

It can...but ugh - it kills my breathing.

I made a big pot of chicken last night, will be chicken and dumplings tonight

Not sure what I can toss in the oven without making some sort of a mess to clean up
