Hiya,Gracie:) Reading the deeming doom stuff too.
I'd like to know what this thread is (link?). I must be missing it somewhere.

NYS is proposing legislation that will prohibit sales of vape equipment within
1/2 mile of any school. The wording is something along the line of "e-cig
vendors would not be allowed to sell the products". In other words: put them
out of business. (Is there any other interpretation?)

I'm curious if that means 7-11s - et al - will also have to pull them from the
shelves. However, those same stores will be able to sell regular cigarettes.
And beer.

This is ALL so :censored:ed up.

Good morning MadO :)

How's the kitties doing? Better I hope!

yup - much more interesting than the weather! fingers crossed! ;)

morning, mad! and i'm off, finally! :?:

I think so...I figured out that they now associate the particular brand of kibble I'd been feeding them - prior to my vacation - with the vet/clinic. So, they weren't really eating like normal. Thankfully, I had some other kibble that I've switched back to. It's better, but not quite back to normal. I'm gonna pick up yet a third brand of wet food and see how that works out.

Zuzu's nickname has become "p00pybutt"

I'm glad I usually vape unflavored and DIY. (Although I admit I ordered some sample FA tobacco flavoring to try it out).

So that post of yours got me curious...I haven't calculated costs in a while. I just ordered PG and VG. When I order by the gallon (like in OBG'S link) it should be even less expensive.

So let's see.

Let's figure $15.00 for PG (240 ml) and VG (120 ml) and 2 day shipping (that's close...it may be high). No nic base yet:
360 ml at $15.00 = 4.1666 cents per ml.

Nic base...last time I ordered it....$68.30 after shipping charges added...500 ml of 100mg/ml nic base. That's 13.66666 cents per ml used.

I use about 10% to 20% base...take the high side and figure 20%...so that's 1/5th of the ml's at the higher price.

1 ml @ 13.666 cents + 4 ml @ 4.1666 cents = 5 ml of juice for 30.33333 cents = 6.066666 cents per ml. So call it 6 cents per ml after adding a few drops of water.

Vaping 1 tank per day (4.5 ml) = 27.30 CENTS (27.299997) per day. And that's only because the tanks produce more vape than my old dripping method. I think it used to cost me < 20 cents per day.

lol.
Just "thinking out loud".
It's worth doing the price check once in a while.

I completely "get" the cost DIY .vs. buying premixed. It's not really news to me.
The NN starter kit is awaiting my first foray into DIY. I also bought their premixed
in the same flavours as the DIY flavours to see how well I am able to replicate them.
That ASSUMES I will even like their premixed stuff.

For me, though... guess I'd rather vape stuff that tastes good and costs more than
stuff which is unsatisfying and nasty and costs less. Ruth's Chris .vs. Taco Bell, and
    all that.
