Links? Oh, Bear, I can't believe you got me going again!!!!!!
Not sure what you are wanting a "link" to Kat? Didn't you say you got some of those Triton rba's? Those pre-mades from FT would work in one of those :?:

But I think I want to get a rebuildable that isn't sub-ohm, or can the Kanger do that? I bought 2 when they had that great sale a while back.
These came with an RBA RTA deck and some cotton, right?
    Open one up and check.
Note the little bag with some "sample" coils (they are pre-made coils for the RBA RTA deck like in AG's pic)

Yep... that is the aforementioned vertical head.

    SMOK is dual-coil.

    Kanger is single.
using one of those premade coils, all you have to do is bend the legs of the coil so you can insert it vertically in the head. they werk fine. Take one apart and you can see the way you'd bend it. Or the instructions on the rba cubis head shows a picture of how the legs are bent :smokie:

    OK, now look at these...

When I watch a coiling tutorial... after they wind the wire... they all mention "now
this is your positive lead and this is your negative lead".

    :confused::confused::confused::confused::confused:

Ummmm... what makes one of those sides "positive" and what makes the other one
negative? I do not get it. It's a piece of FREAKING WIRE. It has NO polarity.

What if I drop it and it flips over? How do I know which one is + and which is - ?

With something like the cubis head, one leg goes through the side hole and you screw it in. The other leg goes through the bottom of the head through the rubber insulator. Then you insert the metal bottom which holds the wire against itself and the rubber. One leg then becomes the positive connection and one the negative

Even the silica ones? Yes, that's what I got, Dale.
I don't see why not

    What are claptons?
    What Aggie said ;) Sub-ohm.

I think everyone ran away. I don't blame you one bit!!!!!:lol::lol:
It was past my supper time

So, if I got ready made coils, some cotton or silica....that's all I'd need to rebuild an atty?
Basically, there are a few tools that make things easier but I'm sure you have a pair of scissors somewhere around :p
And a small screwdriver or hex wrench :)

clapton coils are most commonly made by wrapping smaller wire around thicker wire

Beats me  I poke 'em in there, tighten 'em down, straighten things up and they work
And check 'em on an ohm reader of course, don't want to blow myself up
