Is this true of most mods that use the 18650?

yup! ;) as bear said they are considered disposables! unless you know somebody who loves to tinker and is willing to take the risk as a favor to you there's no way to make the exchange of built-in batteries feasible :(

So, all these people who are stocking up on 18650s probably know how OR know someone who knows how to get them in and out? So, the mods would be disposable because of this?
I am so confused. There are TOO many choices out there...
Some 18650 mods allow for easy changing... like a flashlight.

there's 2 different kinds of mods. One kind you take the battery out and charge it, and the other kind you can't remove the battery to charge it, you charge with a usb cable. The ones with the battery you can't remove are the disposable kind :smokie:

Good morning MadO, tried to say it earlier but lost my connection :(

The iStick 100W TC is my favorite, does pretty much everything available at the moment but if you just tootle puff with it it will last a looooong time on those two 18650's ;)

So, which mods have the battery you can take out and charge? I'm talking the ones with 18650 batts.

I held one of those and it felt heavy for my hands. ( I have nerve damage in my hands is why I like the lighter ones ) that's why I was thinking of the 60w one :smokie:

They are a goodly size but I find them quite comfortable :)

The 60W is one I haven't owned, have no experience with those :?:

And the FDA can take up to 1 year to approve/deny the PMTA. So, if somebody
waited until (2years-1day) to file, can the product still be sold until such time
the PMTA is approved/denied... another year... making the entire timeframe
    just under THREE years?
That ^ was just confirmed, I believe. :)

If the mod description says ...Charges with usb cable... usually means you can't remove the battery
That point...uhm...not the way I'd view it.

My mod has removable batteries, but can charge with a USB cable via built-in charger. So you have to check if you can remove and change the battery or not!

That's why I said...."usually"....I know there's some that you can charge both ways. But with confusion already stated she had I was trying to explain a kinda general rule of thumb for her :D
