That goes along with this, posted by CASAA on FB:

Today, CASAA, SFATA, AEMSA, AVA and NBS have formally announced their coalition to pursue legal and legislative strategies now that the FDA’s final deeming regulations have been released.

The coalition will continue working to determine the correct litigation strategy and legislative actions. We will be informing the vapor industry and community of next steps, deadlines, PR objectives, and grassroots efforts. Organizations interested in participating should contact coalition partners.

Please feel free to contact any of the organizations listed above for more details in the coming days.

woot for Halo! might have to order from them

SFATA uploaded an overview document http://sfata.org/wp-content/uploads/2016/05/SFATADeemingReuglationsAnalysis.pdf

Yikes! Even though there will be 2 years to submit the PMTA, suppliers start having to submit lists of products this December. I wonder if they'll start reducing inventory in advance.

But even worse, if i read the definitions right, if a vape shop rebuilds coils they can be defined as a manufacturer?!

Coils? IDK. How is wiring a coil a tobacco manufacturing thing? Wouldn't put it past the FDA though.

    The whole country is nuts.

Did you hear that they're renaming Budweiser (temporarily through the election)? They will call it "America" and also slap “E Pluribus Unum” on the label.

Now, there's several issues with this (it's now owned by international interests, not an American company), on several fronts. None of which I have the ambition to go into now. However, I can note that there's tons of local brew-pubs around.

One that (IMHO) you don't want....I purchased it at a local vape shop and I find it "flaky"...

It's a Smok XPro M50 with the update to go up to 65 watts. But it flakes out sometimes. And you need an Allen wrench to change the battery.

I "deal with it" because it's otherwise sturdy. There's newer models that may be OK. The Allen Wrench thing is a PITB. I think the USB connector is wearing out too.
Hmmmm... I wonder what's under the hood of the (my) R-80. It has the same hex
screws/covers on both ends. And it's the size of 2x 18650s. I'll bet if I loosen the
screws, the entire thing will !!!*SPROING*!!! fly apart due to spring-loaded everything.
    It's not marketed as a U-can-replace-batteries unit.

To (un)screw or not to (un)screw...

(BTW: the R-80 is absolutely NOT flaky. I am really liking it.)
