Katmar, to use Fran's punched cartos you may need a 510-808 adapter (madvapes). You'll also need to make sure that your existing cartos aren't too short. Many carto tanks take longer cartos. It may just be easier to use your V4L cartos as is and just top them off early and often. I still have some old kr808 batteries and at lease one box of cartos. The standard cartos i have are too short for any of my carto tanks.
The clearos that Atty showed are also 510/ego threaded so won't fir your're V4L batteries ( i never liked clearos like that anyway- they didn't work well for me).

I thought she had 510 batteries.......or a supply of "proper-fit" cartos for a carto tank.

No, I do not have proper fit cartos, Atty. I probably have at least 50 of the 808 cartos. Guess I'll just use them in the 808 batts when I need to.
I do have 510 batteries. They are the Aspire 2200 mah.

i liked carto tanks much better than clearos...but i mostly use aspire tanks these days. I still prefer 1.8 ohms and 6-8 watts. (no, i don't want/need much vapor.

Question for those that DIY liquid (just for my own information)...
I have seen people mention "100%" nic base. Is that RIGHT??? I also see
those mentioning 100mg/ml base (which is 10%, correct?). The 10% makes
more sense to me... 100% comes across as EXTREMELY dangerous.
I know either could be used... but do those 100% people MEAN 100mg?

I've never bought 100mg nic. All mine is 60mg.

So... *if* I was interested in dabbling, I would just look for 60mg or 100mg
unflavored liquid. Yes? PG and VG at a drugstore? Flavorings at a local
bakery supply place (among other sources)?

I prefer to get my PG and VG from online vape-shops that I like. Comes in nice jugs and I don't have to worry about it. That said, I have used the pharma VG on occasion when I was out. But I don't prefer it. Now, thanks to the FDA, I may not have much choice. Will have to buy a few GALLONS of each (more PG than VG).
