BTW HEY @tiburonfirst !!!

^^ That is the internal battery thingy we were "discussing" a couple weeks ago! :)

(And I really do like the two I have in rotation...)
I can't wait until one dies. I'm hoping to open it up and find an 18650
in there with soldered connections. I am quite able to bring THAT
situation back to life.

I've searched for "what is inside a smok R-80" and "what is inside a
Joye Cuboid Mini" with no success.

Anybody know what is inside any "internal battery" mod?

most do have an 18650 ;)
So why did I get a riot act?!?!?! :)

I am able to use a soldering gun, flux and solder!!! I learned that in high
school (went to a "vocational" HS... which is how I got into Kodak - hired
before graduating - in the first place!!!).

Watch out when soldering them....NOT recommended...can wreck em, then they can go boom. Heat = bad for electrolyte. Don't ask me how they do it, but they do it in such a way as to not overheat them too much. SO be careful. See the modder's section or something for instructions.

I ain't cookin' either ...
Making "hamburger" buns (but in a sub-sandwich shape) with obligatory sesame seeds :)
Breaded chicken-breast patties (oblong to match the buns), with lettuce and tomato and mayo maybe mustard.
Homemade french fries.
Leftover potato salad to use up before it goes bad. (that was actually purchased this time. Meh)

It's a frying day, I guess. Haven't broken out the fryer for 6 months or more, so good time to clean it out.

ha! little did i know you've retained skills over decades and are not intimidated by soldering to chips and batteries! :D
Chips are much more delicate... plus you would solder to the chip
holder rather that directly to the chip.

Dull solder joint = probable cold solder joint = NG. :(

Bright shiny chrome-like solder joint = happiness. :)

I've been on a bread kick for years. In general, yes, very good. I don't "do poolish" though. And the recipe I was talking about before had a poolish (50% of the mix!)...and it was a problem.

Normal bread and rolls been done dozens of times, and even the last French baguettes I made were good. Just this poolish based recipe....meh. Going to try a different recipe...because that one didn't work for me even after a few tries.

Okay ... you made me look up "Poolish". Doesn't look or sound very good
