Morning CES.
Class is out by now, eh? Or are you still teaching summer sessions on the island (busyness?)

the spring semester is well over, but this month includes training a new student in the lab, getting caught up with actual research, prepping for a conference the first week in July (i'm involved with lots of the conference planning...heck i'll have 7am meetings on at least two days of the conference) and -yep- prepping for my summer course on Dauphin Island...and increasing the hours at my second job for a little while.

it's all good stuff....but the days are kinda long. :)

off to walk the beasties- have a great day y'all :)

Talk to the Lightning FAQ

..........

Doing the "rude neighbour thing" and going out to edge trim the lawn at 07h45.
Just too many to-do-things to wait until a more reasonable time. So sad, too bad.
THEY don't care, at times. I want to be done mowing by 10h00.

''Conversely, if you hear thunder and don’t see lightning, it’s probably because the lightning occurred inside the cloud and was obscured by the cloud itself, or rain. On average, about 85% of all lightning is intra-cloud, that is to say, it occurs inside the cloud and never touches the ground.''

G'mornin, snails!

Woe is me on the gun debate. Though I understand people's desire for some sort of change to what's currently in place, generally speaking, the ignorance shown by so many is quite the cowboy boot kick to my pants.

I support space exploration so that mankind exposes itself to superior beings who can enlighten us on our folly.

To put myself in a more positive mood, I'm eating tater-tots for breakfast. :p

Somehow, I got to this on YouTube:

It could be "just me"... pessimist and all... but I did NOT come away with the
impression this will be a pro-vape documentary. At all. Much too much
negativity re: vaping.

(Too bad, too, that this movie was completed way before Deeming. It is
possible some footage was added, or may be added, before its US release.)

Yea, it's the pessimist in you.:p It is DEFINITELY a pro-vape documentary. What you saw were clips of how the idiots are portraying e cigs. This documentary is showing how a billion lives could be saved by vaping. They will go on to show how WRONG those people speaking against vaping are. And a shoutout to @Oliver for his part in the film!
