In the process of getting new plates for my car and I thought I was going crazy......now, all the renewals require all the documentation: passport or birth certificate, SS card, proof of this; proof of that! Just like a newbie driver...... I'll just invite the gal over for a nice Italian dinner, and then she will have my proof of residence.......

Out the door price for bi-focal and frame you like, with tinted 2nd pair...300 ish.
THAT would be a bargain.

Last one pair I bought was about $800 AFTER 20% insurance contribution.

Crizal super-refractive (to reduce lens thickness), anti-glare anti-scratch
bifocals. Lenses were about $600, frames about $400.

My distance and reading focal lengths have not changed >1 diopter since 2013.
However, that nebulous area of about 10' to 15' has actually regressed and
is now over-corrected by my "distance" glasses. I've been using the computer-
distance glasses to watch television. So... I don't need new lenses... unless I
absolutely want to avoid changing eyewear to watch TV. I think I'll pass on that.
They can eat me.

(And the "frame I like" is temples and bridge only.)

Well, pretty decent news. 50/50 chance of malignancy, but, if it is, it is very early stage. Biopsy will be scheduled sometime next week. Scheduled, not done. Probably not until end of April. If it is malignant, it is a slow growing type. He said with my age and smoking history, he ups it to a 60-70% chance of malignancy, stage 1, which will hopefully, only require removal. But, still a chance of benign thrown in there, so, overall, it's better news I feared it may be. Thank you all for your encouragement, prayers, thoughts, good wishes, and I ask that you continue as I take this journey and share it with you.
    Love to all!!!! :)

As long as it's slow growing, I'm good, Dale, plus I want a chance to see my pulmonary doctor, who I love!!!!

Goodnight, Snails, sleep well, pleasant dreams and a better tomorrow for ALL. It DOES work!!! I know I didn't get the BEST news, but it's POSITIVE news, so I'll take it! :)
