I don't where ur at in florida, but it's looking really serious for anyone located on the beach in the Miami area. I checked hotels inland and they are all booked up. I have a friend in the tampa suburbs i'm thinking of staying with. According to Joe B a s t a r d i, the guru of all weather that matters (especially hurricanes), he's expecting Irma to be equivalent to some of the worse hurricanes from the 30s & 40s. He's not expecting it to hit the U.S. before Sunday. I'm planning on leaving Saturday morning.

Plans are changing swiftly. My brother called and said to meet him in Buckhead (Atlanta,ga). He said he would book a 5 star hotel and we could eat and party ourselves away for the wknd. If you have never been to Buckhead, it's an incredible part of Atlanta. Killer food and nitelife. And after this, hopefully i'll be able to return to my condo in florida... but i'm not holding my breath.
