OK OK OK ... stopping in to send Happy Friday thoughts out to The Gang.

"Hus" has been home all week due to "The Pneumonia". (Why do people put
"the" in front of medical things, such as "The Diabeetus", etc. ?) And, he
got a call that his Mom is in hospital with the same thing... PLUS previously-
undiagnosed heart problems. So now the family is all "sue her MD"-happy and
his phone has not stopped ringing for a couple of days.

I'll split other topics into separate posts....

I get a rant-eMail from that friend who built that tech-heavy house overlooking
a lake on acres and acres of land. He was going WILD about Netflix's "10%"
    increase in monthly subscription fee.

The cc: list was a mile long. But, I "replied to all" and said: "A whole DOLLAR?!?!
    Those basstards!!!".

(It went up from $9.99 to $10.99)

I stopped short of mentioning his $650,000 outlay for property and house... yet he's
going apoplectic over $1. I'll just keep that disconnect to myself... except for here.

Now... can I TRUST you (yes, YOU) to NOT Google anything about
the following? I want to see if I'm in the apparent minority in NOT
    knowing or observing...

My Dad, out of the blue, gave me a can of salmon. He bought a few
and passed one along. (WAY WAY back, he or Mom used to make salmon
patties, always served with spinach noodles w/ peas and onions on top.)

Now.. withOUT Googling... what can YOU tell ME about cans of salmon?

I canceled the DVD subscription and just kept the streaming. They weren't putting much out on DVD...mostly doing their own "Netflix Original" stuff...some of which is highly rated but I was after the "real" movies...so I'm saving money while they raise prices. ;) :p Just streaming now. May drop that soon too, since Comcost has most of the same stuffis. Yet Comcost's rental prices are HIGHER so they used to justify the DVD rental. But I'm tired of it all really, don't watch that much anyway.

If Netflix had spent all that money they put into Originals on renting top-tier just-released DVDs, I'd probably have kept the DVD plan and paid the extra. Meh.
