Now... can I TRUST you (yes, YOU) to NOT Google anything about
the following? I want to see if I'm in the apparent minority in NOT
knowing or observing...

My Dad, out of the blue, gave me a can of salmon. He bought a few
and passed one along. (WAY WAY back, he or Mom used to make salmon
patties, always served with spinach noodles w/ peas and onions on top.)

Now.. withOUT Googling... what can YOU tell ME about cans of salmon?
that they are not created equal? haven't made salmon patties in ages even though dh loves them but most of them are full of bones and skin (supposed to do wonders for the flavor?) :?:

and back to cleaning i go

Nope! :)

Even if it's the MOST OBVIOUS thing, mention it... because "hus" made
me feel like I have been living under a rock for 61+ years and I did not
know about "it". (NOT the 5oz cans... larger ones...)
OK, so I didn't look.
Guessing:

Region of origin...like Atlantic Salmon vs Alaskan vs other.
Oil vs water.
Dates of packing/manufacture/expiration (can't be it...you'd know about that)
Mercury content.

Hmmmm.....something about the can.

KEY!!!! It has a key on it??????????

Nope and nope.

Only people who actually buy canned salmon ( >5oz cans) MAY have
noticed it. I certainly have not in over 61 years.

OK... let me post a Google image pic...

FaceBook semi-rant...

What is up with people turning STATIC PICTURES into VIDEOS???

And furthermore... why are people putting "special effects" on all their
videos?... like "scratchy old-time movies" or "snowflakes falling" or some
other thing that makes their content unwatchable??? I'm going to start
making comments about it. On FaceBook. This MUST be stopped.

no idea what you're aiming for? pink salmon and sockeye are 2 different fish; not sure if sockeye is available in the larger cans ...
